12th Annual Picnic (Potluck) and Pie Auction - After Action Report

Sunday, September 8th, was a beautiful day for a picnic! Sixty-five people attended the 12th annual PACG Picnic and Pie auction this year. Instead of having the event catered, people brought dishes to share ranging from delicious casseroles to interesting salads and deserts.
After everyone had a chance to eat, the Issue Forum leaders gave descriptions of what they had been doing during the past year. Although their presentations were brief, they described the wide range of endeavors that the PACG Issue Forums undertake. It's really quite amazing what a group of dedicated people can accomplish!
Many delicious pies, along with a very good looking quiche, some over-the-moon caramel apples, a couple of beautiful bouquets of flowers, and Julie Ross's famous homemade caramels were all donated to be auctioned off! And Jen Broders ran the pie auction like the professional that she is!
We were delighted to have several newcomers this year, and they were made to feel welcome by everyone. Overall, we had a lot of fun, shared a lot of information and stories, and we consider the picnic to have been quite a success! We will continue to add more pictures to this blog post.
We hope to see all those who couldn't attend this year at our 13th Annual Picnic & Pie Auction in 2025.
