Within a few weeks the Iowa Supreme Court will decide whether to allow the near-total abortion ban passed by the legislature to go into effect. The Iowa ACLU has been coordinating statewide efforts to fight for reproductive freedom, and the Gender Equity Forum has been working with them. Once the court decision is announced, we need to be prepared to act quickly. We trust that the ACLU will guide us in taking any appropriate actions.
