Indivisible QC #GiveHealthy Food Drive 2025
November 7, 2025 through January 5, 2026
To all Indivisibles and the QC progressive community:
Collaborating with 50501 and Resisters Unite, today we launch our Digital Food Drive. In partnership with the River Bend Food Bank, Indivisible QC and its sibling organizations call on their networks to give generously for the Food Bank to purchase and distribute healthy food. The Drive will last until January 5, 2026.

Because the Food Bank procures generous terms for volume purchases of food, your monetary donations may go further than contributing items through direct food drives. That said, it’s really up to the giver, and in the near future, the coalition will likely expand the drive to include potential monetary and material donations at drop-off sites, and giving to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center as well.
As you know, between the recent loss of SNAP benefits, the indefinite furloughing of government workers, and fear about possible ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) raids, many Quad Cities individuals and families are facing critical shortages of food and other basic necessities. Indivisible QC is heartbroken by the impasse in Washington and outraged at the callous greed that allows for hunger and poverty to increase amidst historic gains in the stock market, unprecedented levels of wealth inequality, and the building of a new $300 million White House ballroom.
Indivisible believes in the fundamental dignity of all human beings, and that access to food, basic necessities, and affordable healthcare is a core human right. Indivisible does not believe that governing parties should govern only for their wealthiest donors and cronies.
