A Message from the PACG President
As Progressive Action for the Common Good's newest President, (possibly) youngest president, and certainly the first one that can be classed as a Millenial, I should send a Presidential message before the year is half over. PACG celebrated its 20th anniversary of educating and empowering people to take action last year.
Remember when George W. Bush seemed to be trying to go down in history as the "Worst President Ever?" (yeah, back in those days). That's when PACG got started.
A pessimist might might look at current events and wonder what we've accomplished.
Our accomplishments? Many. The important one in this moment is that we have a solid organization that is ready for these times. Thank you to my predecessors! We have found that educating people is not sufficient to convince them; different people are convinced by different arguments using the same facts. But education is necessary, especially when misinformation is rampant.
My goal for PACG is to educate and empower people to take action, and to continue building the organization to make progress for as long as there is progress to be made.
