REGISTER NOW: December IowaPolitics.com Forum to feature Iowa state legislators in the Quad Cities
The upcoming legislative session will be the topic of the next IowaPolitics.com forum at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1. The event will be held at the Figge Art Museum, 225 West Second Street in Davenport, IA. The Iowa Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce is an event partner.
Confirmed legislative panelists include:
* Senate Assistant Majority Leader Joe Bolkcom, D-Iowa City
* Senator Shawn Hamerlinck, R-Dixon
* House Assistant Majority Leader Dave Jacoby, D-Coralville
* House Assistant Minority Leader Steven Lukan, R-New Vienna
IowaPolitics.com Des Moines Bureau Chief Lynn Campbell will moderate the program, and questions will be accepted from audience members. The event later will be broadcast on the Mediacom Connections channel statewide and will be available for On Demand viewing on Mediacom Channel 1.
The forum is part of the "Cookies and Conversation" series presented by IowaPolitics.com and Mediacom. Wal-Mart and Mediacom are event sponsors. This event will also be the Iowa Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce A.M. Scott County program for December.
Doors open at 7:30 a.m. and taping of the show will be from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
