Churches United Trivia Night to benefit those in need
We are doing this Trivia Night because for years Churches United had a fund to help those in need for assistance like rent, utilities, prescriptions etc.for members of member congregations. The entire fund was supported by ONE gracious individual over the past 15 years. He has passed away and the balance of money has been disbursed. Because this support was operated through a charity fund via a bank out of state, Churches United is not able to secure another long term funder at this time. This fund has run dry and the trivia night is a way for us to raise some money for the fund until we can make a more permanent plan. If you like to play trivia and enjoy good food - join us at St.John Vianney Church. The Blue Iguana from LeClaire will be providing wonderful tacos, chips etc. To purchase a table simply call Churches United at 563-332-5002 or email us at: [email protected].
