Covid Information
We continue to monitor the novel coronavirus pandemic. Board member, Dr. Alta Price, MD, asks that we follow CDC guidelines regarding mask-wearing. Fully-vaccinated people at out-of-doors events are not required to wear masks, but may choose to do so.
Events listed on our website and calendar will clearly state whether they will be in-person, via Zoom or phone-in.
Our Office Manager, Julie, can set up Zoom meetings on behalf of members or affiliates. Contact Julie Ross via her PACG contact form, her cell (563-508-2209) or the PACG Office (563-676-7580).

Calling your Member of Congress is as easy as 1, 2, 3...
1. Dial your Member of Congress (MoC) - These are your two Senators and one member of the House of Representatives. All three have offices and phone numbers in both Washington DC and in your local area. Find your representatives' contact information here.
2. When someone answers, do the following:
tell them your name
state that you are a constituent
state the issue that you are calling about (for example, the ACA)
express your views on the issue; ask that your MoC vote (for or against) it
say thank you. Always be polite!
Leaving a phone message with the above information is also helpful.
3. Hang up. Then follow up by finding out how your MoC voted. You can call later to express how you feel about that.
