Civil Rights Forum Monthly Meeting via Zoom
Monday, January 9th at 5:00 pm

Civil Rights Forum

Join us at our monthly Civil Rights Forum meeting to discuss ongoing activities involving racial justice, helping all youth thrive in the Quad Cities, and addressing immigration issues. We will be planning for our upcoming immigration summit on February 25th.

Contact Allison Ambrose for the Zoom link.

Juvenile Justice Coalition Meeting
Friday, January 20th at 4:00 pm

Note: There will be no meeting in December.

Juvenile Justice Coalition of the Quad Cities

The Juvenile Justice Coalition is working to promote sensible programs and ethical policies to protect our youth from unnecessary incarceration and undue harsh treatment. We strongly support, and discuss programs that support, our youth and families.

We have also been inviting candidates for the Scott County Board of Supervisors to speak at our Zoom meetings, because the proposed juvenile detention center is central to how we value our children. After the June primary, we will continue to invite candidates to speak at our forum.

We are an effective and diverse group and you are invited to join our meeting. We usually meet the second and fourth Fridays of the month. Due to the Memorial Day holiday, our next meeting will be June 10th.

Contact Michael Guster for a link to the Zoom meeting.
