Upcoming Meetings and Books
March PACG Book Club
Monday, March 17th at 5:15 pm - Zoom only
PACG Book Club
Note: There will be no February book club discussion.
In March we will meet via Zoom to discuss Lightning Men (Darktown #2) by Thomas Mullen. We really enjoyed the first book in the series, so decided to try this one.
To learn more about the book, read this PACG blog post.
Contact me for the Zoom link.
For those wanting to get a head start, the April book will be Barons: Money, Power, and the Corruption of America's Food Industry by Austin Frerick. The author is a 7th generation Iowan and the book was recommended by J.D. Scholten. (J.D. has an interesting weekly Substack called You're Probably Getting Screwed. Here is a link, for those of you on Substack. He's just started a book club and this was the first book they read. He also interviewed the author.) You can read more about the April book at this PACG blog post.
