Earth Day Every Day Celebration After Action Report

Environmental Forum
The Environmental Forum of PACG offered their sixth Earth Day is Everyday Fair on May 17, 2025 at the Freight House Farmers Market. We were also sponsored by Living Lands and Waters and WVIK. We had 17 tabling organizations, including the Metrolink Electric Bus and Living Lands and Waters. The latter organization gave away over 50 hardwood trees! There were 4 musical performances throughout the day, and we provided free tables to our organizations. We estimate that over 1000 people attended the Market and our Fair throughout the day!

Earth Day Every Day - After Action Report

Freight House Farmers Market

Environmental Forum

We hosted our sixth annual Earth Day Fair in collaboration with the Freight House Farmers Market on Saturday, May 18th. Our sponsors also included WVIK and Living Lands and Waters. The theme for Earth Day this year was Planet vs. Plastics, which we highlighted with buttons, flyers, and stickers. We had three musical performances throughout the day, including the Native American Coalition of the Quad Cities, Richard Roberts and Rob Dahm, as well as Totes McGotes, a 6 person rock band. Twenty-five organizations provided interactive tables for market attendees, including the Metrolink Electric Bus and the Living Lands and Waters Barge, who gave away trees. Thanks to all of our partners in this annual endeavor!

Everyday is Earth Day - After Action Report

Environmental Forum

Our 4th Annual Earth Day Fair had to be postponed this year due to flooding, but it was held on June 3rd at the Freight House Farmers Market.

We were co-sponsored by Living Lands and Waters, WVIK and WQPT.

As in years past, we had 5 musical performers/groups to entertain the crowd, and over 20 tables from local organizations. The Metrolink Electric Bus gathered a great deal of interest, and Living Lands and Waters gave away over 100 trees. Twenty-three organizations were represented and five groups of musicians played for the hundreds of visitors.

Our thanks to everyone who assisted with set up and break down, registration, etc. The beautiful weather was appreciated by all!
