CONCERT TO BENEFIT TWO ORGS
A Concert to benefit the Centro Maya Project in Guatemala and the Oaks of Mamre Catholic Worker House in Davenport will be held on Sunday, March 20th at 6 PM in the Broadway Pres Church, 710 23rd St Rock Island IL.
Charlie King and Karen Brandow will perform a concert of inspiring political and satirical songs as a fundraiser for Centro Maya Project, to support children and families of a school for children with disabilities in Guatemala, and the Oaks of Mamre Catholic Worker House, Davenport, which provides hospitality to the homeless.
Arrive early and shop for hand-made Guatemalan jewelry and weavings.
Donations of $8 in advance, $10 at the door are requested.
