Decision delayed on Iowa's top caucus spot
Iowa will have to wait until after the mid-term elections to learn whether it will keep its spot as the first political caucus of the presidential season, reports the Nebraska Examiner. Iowa is vying to keep its early spot along with New Hampshire, and challengers Nevada, Maryland and South Carolina. Critics say Iowa should not hold such an influential spot because it lacks diversity (emphasis added).
