​Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois

​On Saturday, April 9th, the PACG Environmental Forum hosted a table at the Journey the World event, sponsored by the Girls Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. Over 500 Scouts participated in this annual activity, whose goal is to celebrate world cultures and highlight global movements.

Our forum's table focused on plastic pollution and the 4 Rs (Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle). Participants were offered various activities, stickers, bookmarks, and the opportunity to learn about the recent Mississippi River Cities and Towns Initiative.
