Join us and learn about the West Lake Restoration Project
Speaker: Roger Kean - Scott County Conservation Board Executive Director
In August of 2019, Scott County Conservation Board and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources launched the West Lake Restoration project. The goal is to improve water quality, increase recreation opportunities, and remove the lake from the impaired waters list.
Mr. Kean will be on site to give us details of the project. You may want to bring water and insect repellent.
We will be meet at Lake View Shelter at 5 pm. It is the second shelter inside Gate 1 at West Lake Park, located above the beach area (park map).
After that we will adjourn to El Campita Mexican Bar & Grill (map) for networking and
refreshments.
