Earth Day Celebration: Ray Wolf from the National Weather Service, NOAA, will present the most recent study on Climate Change and specific implications for the Midwest on April 19th, Thursday, from6:30 to 8:00 at the Botanical Center. Refreshments will be served.

The Snapshot Water Sampling Project, coordinated by the Scott County Waste Commission, Nahant Marsh, IOWater, and Partner's Scott County Watershed. Contact the Environmental Forum if you wish to participate in the spring training, and are able to commit to at least two sampling activities on aSaturday morning in the summer and fall.

Help with the Davenport Public Works 6th Grade Watershed Field Trips. These occur on several days in April, both in the morning and afternoon. If you can volunteer about 3 hours of your time, the city staff need adults who can help supervise students from the Davenport School District who are learning about their local watershed.
