Voting
RSVP for the virtual town hall meeting August 18th at 5:00pm to discuss Social Security, economic justice for women, and the importance of voting at the second event in our Informed Voter Series.
The meeting coincides with the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which granted American women the right to vote.
The Davenport-Bettendorf American Association of University Women, Iowa Alliance for Retired Americans, Quad Cities Chapter: National Organization for Women, Progressive Action for the Common Good, and Iowa Lower Drug Prices Now are partnering to bring you this program in the Informed Voter Series.
We have invited U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst, and her opponent, Democratic candidate Theresa Greenfield, to join the meeting, as well as Rita Hart and Marionette Miller-Meeks, both candidates for the 2nd Iowa Congressional District seat being vacated by Democrat Dave Loebsack.
Roxanna Moritz, Scott County Auditor, will be in attendance to speak about voting by mail and important election dates.
