SOCIAL SECURITY
The Social Security Forum has hosted events at the Davenport and Moline libraries, respectively, the past two years to educate the public about the facts that Social Security, by law, is not part of the federal deficit, and will be solvent through the end of this century if we just raise or eliminate the cap on taxed earnings. Speakers from the Alliance for Retired Americans gave the presentations and disseminated literature.
Please contact Caryn Unsicker ([email protected]) or Carol Brown ([email protected]) if you would like information or literature about Social Security.
