“THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN” SPEAKING TOUR – NOVEMBER 12, 6:00 PM
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 6:00 PM
Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Quad Cities
3707 Eastern Avenue, Davenport, Iowa.
Join us to hear Corporate anthropologist and author Jane Anne Morris in “The Man Behind the Curtain” speaking tour.
Communities across America have been successful in creating change when they’ve understood some of the key concepts Jane Anne Morris will be talking about. Find out what’s behind all these issues like the Dakota Access Pipeline, the need for a moratorium on factory farming, the water and air pollution from CAFOs and slaughterhouses, and even the struggles for fair labor practices and a livable wage.
This event is the third stop on a four city tour with Corporate Anthropologist, Jane Anne Morris, called “The Man Behind the Curtain” or “CAFOs, Slaughterhouses, and Pipelines, (Oh My!) – Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain!” You will watch as Jane Anne pulls back the curtain and helps you better understand how to address crucial issues.
We sincerely hope you can join us for this exciting and very informative event. Huge changes are possible through grassroots efforts like this.
Please bring a dish to share and invite folks!
