QUAD CITIES WATER QUALITY SUMMIT

The local environmental community will mark International Water Day with a panel of experts who will address the various challenges run-off pollution presents to water quality in Iowa and the Midwest and why we need to become better stewards of this resource.
Expert panel includes: Iowa American Water President, Randy Moore; Des Moines Waterworks CEO, Bill Stowe; Organic Farmer and Soil Scientist, Francis Thicke; DNR Research Geologist, Mary Skopec; Iowa Agriculture Water Alliance Executive Director, Sean McMahon.
This program is offered through Eastern Iowa Community College’s SCENE program and Progressive Action for the Common Good.
